Now I remember...

So the girls went out Friday for a gallery crawl downtown. Fran and I sipped wine and looked at art. Saying things like, "I like the use of color in this one," or "nice use of texture,". We had to sound like we knew what we were talking about, people were near by. I did take an art history class in college and made an A. So I am qualified. After the art we crossed the street to McHale's Irish Pub (Amanda this used to be For What It's Worth). Lots of Miller Lite draft and darts...which I am sad to say, Fran won 2 out of three games. Hey, I've got a kid, I'm out of the loop...I should get a handicap.

So after a couple hours of this Fran had what she thought was a brilliant idea...let's go to the Silver Dollar. Now for those of you who don't know or haven't had the pleasure of visitng this fine establishment...it is the shadiest, beat up, something bad could happen kind of bar in all of Rock Hill. While we were in college it was slightly better since all of our friends hung out there so we kind of outnumbered the greasers. Not so much know. As a matter of fact I haven't been in there in 5 years. Until Friday. This took some real convincing on Fran's part but a shot of Red Bull and Vodka and Fran promising to buy me a beer, the deal was sealed. Sweet jesus.

It was just as I remembered...dirty and full of the strangest folks in Rock Hill. I think I started to block out the rest of the night but I do remember Fran saying, "hey Amy get a picture of Molly with the giant!". I turn around and this see this really tall guy and I say, "Fran maybe you shouldn't call him a giant, he might not like that." As she responds, "We go way back, we met about 5 minutes ago, it's cool,"

So I remember Molly dropping me off at around 1 AM. Next ting I remember is 6:30 AM, a crying baby and the worst headache I can recall ever having. Thank God Neal let me sleep in. Now I remember why I don't do this s#*@ anymore...

Man, that last picture looks like something out of Lord of the Rings (or maybe Shreck) Yikes! Thank heaven the giants in that kingdom seem friendly (or maybe recognize good breeding potential...)
