So there has been so much going on (not in a fun way) that I have neglected my blog and I do apologize. We had the inspection this week for Pumpkin Lane. It was long and exhausting. We drove up there Monday morning and went straight to my parents house to drop off Grace with my Mom. Dad, Neal and I went to the inspection. And what I learned from this whole process was you spend money for them to give you a long list of things that need to eventually be fixed. So I guess now we have a checklist to follow. They are all normal upkeep issues involved with a 20 year old wood cabin. But nothing has to be done immediately and really is in good condition. I guess these jitters are normal when you are about to write a really big check in two weeks. In other news I have begun preparing Grace's first birthday bash! Invitations will be in the mail tomorrow and details are coming together. As if those two things aren't enough to keep me busy I have Father's Day to prepare for. I want it to a special day for Neal and have working hard that. And last but not least Grace has developd her first fever. She started running a 100 fever yesterday afternoon so we gave her Tylenol before bed and she slept pretty good at night. This morning her fever was gone and she was her usual wonderful self. Her appetite is still strong as well as her personality. But this evening she felt warm and so I checked and she had another 100 fever. So I called Dr. Bob andhe explained she was fine and as long as her appetite and attitude were good and no fever over 102 she would be fine, no doctor visit needed. So we will see how this plays out. Also in Grace's world she is standing very well on her own now and I caught some pictures to prove it. Her first steps will be next.
I need to get some sleep while I can...love to all.

Everyone needs some professionals in their corner who are willing to be on call, eh? Like a doc or nurse, family law-dog, engineer, mechanic, electrician, cook and pie maker!! Hope by now our Grace is on the cooler side of happy. I say check the back of her mouth. Could be molars coming in and if it is the dogs had better watch out!
is she better?
time to blog again, i'm missing home and need some pictures ASAP
