So I got a call from Amanda yesterday afternoon and she asks me if I will be home in 6 hours. After doing the math in my head I realize that would be 9 pm. I say yes, why? She tells me there is VW Bus that she is bidding for on EBay. Normally this would sound crazy to me but since this is coming from Amandaland this made perfect sense. She would be at work when the auction was over and she needed me to watch and bid if necessary. So I enter her bid to beat the current highest bidder. Since it still had a couple of hours left and Grace was sleeping I decided to walk over to the neighbors and have a drink. I pulled the auction up on their computer and we watched it. So as the hours turned to minutes I starting getting really nervous. In my mind I am thinking did I dream that Amanda has put me in charge of bidding on a car. I must have...there is no way she would trust me to do this! So there we are counting the last minute like it is New Year's Eve...drumroll please.............Amanda now owns a 71' VW Vanagon. Sweet! We opened a bottle champagne in honor of the new bus. Here's the catch though...that sweet bus is in Post Falls IDAHO! Road trip for Amanda and white dog. I'm sure Sativa has always wanted to see Idaho. So, Amanda call me and confirm that I did not dream all this...
