Okay so it finally happened. I knew it was only a matter of time and that I was lucky to avoid it this long. Grace got a stomach virus, that's what the doctor called it, but I call it a one way ticket to hell for everyone involved. I changed more diarreah diapers than anyone should have to in a lifetime. Oh did I mention changing sheets at 3 am...that's what happens when the diaper fills with poo. And the 102 fever she ran for two of the days didn't do anything to improve the mood of an already ticked off toddler. I swear the child looked yellow. She just started eating again today but only a little bit. Strictly Pedialyte and water before today. She wouldn't get near any food and got REALLY mad when I did try and coax her to eat. So today was the first day I saw a smile and god I missed that beautiful smile. This whole thing reminds me that there isn't anything I wouldn't do for her...even though I am extremely jealous of the King family who were drinking martinis while I was knee deep in diarreah.
Here are some pictures of Grace "pre funk". It's amazing that one day she smiling and laughing and the next...well you know the story.

That's right I took this picture

Apparently Grace likes to chase ducks

In action

How do I pick, too many decisions...

You want me to throw this ball where?

Wow this heavier than it looks...

Oh, poor Grace! And poorer you! I'm so glad she's feeling better now. After my night of alcohol-induced sheer mania, I'm also feeling better. I guess it's coming around...
loving the pumpkin picture.
If it helps, I felt like a poopy diaper on the plane
Amy, trust me........ it's going to take two days and a couple good pies to fill you in on the past week. Sorry that while we were getin' down in the Burgh Grace was down for the count in RH. Pumpkin patch pics are fabulous!
