Okay so the reason I have not posted in so long is Blogger's fault. It would not let me log in. I blame it on the "new" version on blogger. Why must people change things that work just fine. It boggles the mind really. So the blogger gods have decided that they like me today and have let me enter their world.
So updates...let's see Grace and I started her Kindermusik class yesterday. What a blast! It has 1 1/2 year old to three years old. So Grace was the youngest at 1 1/2. I was a little worried that Grace would be running wild while the other children would be sitting in their mom's lap, smiling and following along with the music. Okay so I was more than a little worried I was petrified. I have learned since I am a mom that other moms can give very disapproving looks and somehow perfect strangers can make you feel really lousy. I mean I guess in the back of your mind you want your children to be the ones that smile and say please and thank you and are perfect angels when you are in public. Well I learned differently today. There were a few children who were the little angels who sat there quietly and calmly and then there was Grace. She absolutely lit up the room with her excitement and smile. The teacher let us all know that the children were free to run a round and not required to stay in the circle but that usually once they see the group doing something fun they will come around. She bow wowed like a dog, played the cymbals, listened to a story on the story blanket, danced to music, rolled on the floor and the list goes on and on. Everyone in the room commented on what a happy and beautiful child she was. Let's face it calm and quiet is good but happy and FUN is great! Okay so enough bragging here are a couple pictures that I snapped before all the kids got there.

In other news Grace got some new doggie slippers for Christmas ...
We are supposed to get a bad ice storm here on Sunday so that is keeping us from heading to Pumpkin Lane this weekend. Boo hoo... That is about it here. So sorry for the delay with the blog.

Hey girl, are you still planning on coming to Gracie's party? Call me or send a message :) Gracie needs to do something fun like Grace...too sweet!
That's exactly what music SHOULD make you do! Our little Grace, with her rockstar soul, just knows it long before the rest of the kids.
Now, go ahead and switch to the new blogger like the rest of the cool kids. Don't make me look disapprovingly at you.
Hello. I've been lurking for some time, but couldn't help but comment this time. You are so right about other moms giving disapproving looks. I've felt their evil stares ever since J was born. Why is that? I say we ignore them and let our children be blissfully Grace-like.
You go Crazy Legs!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the side... I am delighted that Peggy (and Chris) are lurking. J is the boy I think Gracie should fall in love with because they would be the happiest, funny, fabulous couple in the history of the world. And no matter how old I was, I would find a way to dance at their wedding.
i like how Grace makes the other kids do push ups to warm up. Seriously. Look at that picture. She says...."Im just telling you, you need to streatch out before we do this. Theres going to running and jumping and lots and lots of twirling. You don't want to pull something mid high kick. Now give me two more, and we'll work on abs"
