I can't make this stuff up...

So Neal, Grace and I have returned from Cabin Fever with stories to tell. Neal and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, # 4! The plan was to leave Friday and take Grace to my parents for the night and then Neal and I were headed to my parents apartment in downtown Greenville for the night. What did you say? Over night? Yes...this was the first time Neal and I would both be away from her all night. If you could have bottled the excitement that I felt you would be a millionaire. The feeling of pure freedom. I felt drunk already. I digress...so we met our friends Rob and Melissa who I went to highschool with at the apartment. She is 6 months pregnant with a little girl. So sweet. They have dated since highschool, married and now going to be parents. Crazy! My Mom had made us reservations at Giorgio's, an intimate Italian resturaunt on Main St. None of us had ever been there so we were excited. We walked in and it seemed like every person in the room was staring at us, granted the whole place had maybe 12 tables. After the staring subsisded we were approached my the owner. He asked if he could help with a tone that implied we shouldn't be there. I explained we had a reseervation for 8:30 and then he softened his smile and sat us at the bar until our table was ready. After a few minutes we were seated at our table. So salads came, then the bottle of wine and then the server informed us that Renee Zellweger, George Clooney and Jonathan Pryce were sitting two tables away. WHAT?!!!!!!!!! Yeah they are in town shooting the movie "Leatherheads". They asked us not to approach them because the owner wanted them to come back. So from that point it was total stare mode. Melissa and I kept asking Rob and Neal to move their heads as they were blocking our view of George. Now I know you are wondering about pictures...I did my best. George got up halfway through dinner and sprinted across Main St. to the Westin ( where they are staying). So no pic of George. I managed to snap this shot from under the table and with no flash, it is a pic of Renee from the back.

Now here the million dollar question. Do you see the guy across from Renee? He is famous but we CANNOT remember what we have seen him in? Any ideas? I know it is hard to tell from the picture. So we finished our meal as slow as possible because you can bet we were milking this for all it was worth. So as we got up to leave so did Renee and everyone else. So we walked out of the resturaunt at the same time. People were waiting outside and started snapping pictures...wassup I'm famous. Okay not really but if they wanted a pic of her they had to get me in it too! So here is a shot of her leaving, again from the back. She is in the tan jacket.
We were starstruck to say the least!

So just when I thought the night couldn't get any better Neal gave me my anniversary present! It is a ruby and diamond tennis bracelet. So diamonds and celebrities, how much can one girl take!

So we parited until the wee hours and we both slept in for the first time in 2 years. Ahhhh.......

We headed back to my parents after some really strong coffee. I really love my parents apartment downtown. I took some pics.

So the rest of the trip it was back to reality. We stayed at the cabin until Monday and did lots of hiking. We got some great pics of Grace.

When I saw that last pic all I could wonder was if Grace was having a "birthing" flashback!?!? Also noticed that when walking in the woods together holding hands, you and Gracie BOTH have crazy chicken legs going. Did you learn that from Amanda?
